Since 1973, the Connecticut Radio Network has been providing programming and promotions to more than 40 radio stations throughout Connecticut.

CRN was started when founder Barry Berman was looking to provide a half hour public affairs radio program, to air weekly on key Connecticut stations. The company was called Connecticut Public Information Network (CPIN) and the programming idea took off, both with radio stations and sponsors. Dialogue was created, a program still produced by CRN today.

The network expanded to include sports programming and opened a news bureau at the State Capital. The name was changed to the Connecticut Radio Network and after branching out with the New England Ski Watch, CRN International was born to handle radio programming and promotion on a national scale.

The Connecticut Radio Network remained to handle business in Connecticut and currently provides programming to almost all of the radio stations throughout the state with daily features, sports programming, entertainment features and seasonal programming opportunities. Although primarily a news and information based network, CRN has grown to include customized radio marketing for clients while leveraging them on top radio stations throughout the state.
