Berman is recognized as a pioneer in utilizing the radio medium to develop promotions that benefit marketers, the retail trade and broadcasters. He also founded the Connecticut Radio Network, which today is heard on more than 30 stations throughout Connecticut.

Berman has been honored as a regional finalist in the Inc. Magazine Entrepreneur of the Year Competition, while CRN International has been ranked numerous times as one of the "Inc. 500" fastest growing private companies.
